Rensinus Schipper

Senior Farm Consultant

Rensinus Schipper has been consulting since October 2007 after having relocated from Europe.

Being born and raised on a dairy farm in the Netherlands, combined with his migration to this country, has provided Rensinus with a broad overview of both European and New Zealand dairy farming systems. Together with this practical experience, his position as Senior Consultant has presented an excellent platform for allowing Rensinus to utilise the knowledge he gained during his 12 years of agriculture-based education through to university level.

His extensive overall knowledge of animal health and dairy systems has also lead to Rensinus overseeing the development of our specialist IT application MilkMaP™ Dairy Solution Software. This tool assists clients in collecting the information they need to ensure their long-term future and prosperity within the dairy industry.

This was developed though several papers at university and his honors project, which focused on rumen function in response to feeding fatty milk by-products.

Since becoming a farm consultant in 2014, Cameron has been rapidly increasing his knowledge of dairy ruminant nutrition as well as overseeing the company’s NIR feed analysis testing facilities. Joining the consultancy team is allowing Cameron to use his growing knowledge in practical situations, which provides positive recommendations to farmers.

Cameron is looking forward to working with clients, providing tailored, comprehensive advice that will allow farmers to reach and improve their production and financial targets.

Cameron Burton

As Cameron was completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with first class honors at Lincoln University, his interest in ruminant nutrition was sparked.

After completing her degree, Charlotte returned to the same Southland farm where she helped to implement the MilkMaP system that had been put in place whilst she was away. The system helped to improve animal health, milk production, pasture growth and utilisation, sustainability and profitability.

Working for MilkMaP allows Charlotte to combine her academic studies and practical knowledge to help other dairy farmers to improve their herd health, milk production and business profitability.

Charlotte Dabell

Charlotte has a BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from leading UK institution, Harper Adams University. Whilst studying for her degree Charlotte worked on UK based dairy and sheep farms and completed a placement year on a farm in Southland.
